Power School Report Cards & Student Progress

September 26, 2022

Powerschool Report Cards and Progress Reports Message for School Messenger:

During the 2022-2023 school year, the Windber Area School District will be advancing our efforts to provide students and parents with real-time representations of student academic achievement through Powerschool.  Powerschool is the school district's student information system and provides the ability for 24/7 access to a student's assignments and grading.

Aligned with these efforts, the school district will no longer be distributing paper copies of progress reports or report cards for students in grades 3 through 12.  Instead of distributing a paper report card during established timeframes throughout the school year, a message from the school district to provide notice that finalized term grades are now available for review by parents in the Powerschool web portal or via the Powerschool mobile application will be sent out via School Messenger.

The PowerSchool web portal is available by clicking the following link

The Powerschool Mobile App can be downloaded from the iOS App Store for Apple iOS devices or from Google Play Store for Android devices.

Information regarding parent account setup is available via the school district website at the following link.  All needed information and procedures to set up and access your child's Powerschool are provided via the information on this webpage.

All Powerschool accounts are password secure and require a Student Access ID to be created. Student Access IDs can be obtained from your child's School Office by calling (814)467-4567.  Parents can also fill out this form to submit your request if that is more convenient: PowerSchool Parent Access Form

The Windber Area School District is committed to providing parents with convenient and efficient access to their child's academic progress and this change in procedure is directly aligned with that commitment. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to advance our provision of parental access to your child's academic records via Powerschool.
