Math 24 Challenge

Math 24 Challenge is an activity where students in grades 4 through 8 get together to practice the Math 24 game. The students have cards that have four different numbers on them. The students have to figure out how to come up with a solution of 24. They must use each number and can only use that number once. The students can use any of the following operations to reach their goal of 24--add, subtract, multiply, or divide. Then in April, those students will compete against each other at the elementary and middle school levels. The top students will then advance to the local competition in May to compete against students from other schools at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA.
