We are thrilled to announce the return of the WBA-WGBA programs this summer, where students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball and engage in friendly competition within a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Our goal is to expose all students to the game of basketball, thereby strengthening our overall basketball program. Recognizing that some students missed the chance to play on a team in the East Hills league, we are excited to recreate this program, which was originally established by Dr. Emery D'Arcangelo nearly 30 years ago.
The program will run for three weeks, from June 10th to June 28th, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Pitt-Johnstown Sports Complex. We welcome students in grades 1-6 starting in the 24-25 school year to join us for this wonderful opportunity sponsored by the Windber Lettermen's Club.
