Student Registration
If you have recently moved into the Windber Area School District, please contact the district registrar to set up an appointment as soon as possible to enroll your child. Bernice can be reached at 814-467-4567 x812, or [email protected].
 
ALL enrollments for the current school year are at the high school/middle school office.

Required Information
In addition to completing enrollment paperwork, you will need to supply some documentation upon registration:
    • Proof of the child’s age (acceptable documentation)
      • Birth certificate
      • Notarized copy of birth certificate
      • Baptismal certificate
      • Copy of the record of baptism - notarized or duly certified and showing the date of birth
      • Notarized statement from the parents or another relative indicating the date of birth
      • A valid passport
      • A prior school record indicating the date of birth
 
    • Immunization Record (Please see school vaccination requirements below)
      o In accordance with state law, all students must be immunized to attend
      school within the district unless they have filed the appropriate exemption
      paperwork.
 
    • Proof of Residency (documentation that shows your current Windber address)
      o Current driver’s license/change of driver’s license address
      o Rental agreement, lease, deed
      o Utility bill, W2, bank statement, credit card bill
 
Pre-K/Kindergarten Registration(for the following school year)
If your child will be 4 years old before September 1st/5 years old before September 1st of the following school year, they can be enrolled for Pre-K/Kindergarten. These enrollments will be at the elementary school. Dates and times will be announced on our school website, www.windberschools.org.
