Windber Ramblers Beat the North Star Cougars

The game started off with a lot of amazing plays by the Ramblers. Junior James Shearman scored the first touchdown for the team. Sophomore Dylan Tomlinson had an amazing play that would have scored a touchdown if there hadn’t been a flag on the play. James Shearman and Evan Custer closed out the first quarter with one touchdown each, leaving the score of Ramblers 21, Cougars 0.

The second quarter saw two more touchdowns for the Windber Ramblers. Freshman John Shuster scored the first. Dylan Tomlinson ran 55 yards to the endzone for another touchdown. The score at the end of the first half was 35-0 in favor of Windber.

The second half of the game saw yet another touchdown for the Ramblers, which set the final score of the game was 42-0.

John Shuster, freshman running back, said he was “proud of the team’s performance” and couldn’t wait to continue their winning streak throughout the rest of the season.
