First and foremost, continue to adhere to medical and governmental guidelines and suggestions to keep you and your family safe. We have initiated the food program that is available to our students and the community. We have seen an increase in participation every day since we began. We will continue this service next week with a few adjustments to keep our staff safe, meanwhile still providing meals.
Starting Monday, March 23rd, we will be offering breakfast and lunches on a Monday and Thursday distribution schedule. The Monday pick up will be inclusive of meals for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Thursday pick up will include meals for Thursday and Friday, as well as a W.A.C.K. Pack and additional donated items for the weekend. We will continue to distribute at the same pick-up locations from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday and Thursday.
We continue to update our website and provide any new information on the Covid-19 Resources and Toolkit page. We have offered resources to families concerning health and well-being, as well as free educational resources to use during this time of school closure.
During this mandated closure, we are unsure of future mitigation efforts or timelines regarding school operations. After receiving official guidance from authorities, we will be prepared for the next steps. We do not know what the future holds, but we continue in our promise to serve our district with positive and caring measures to meet the needs of our students, staff, families, and community.
