The Windber Area High School Homecoming football game against North Star will be played on Friday, September 22nd at Windber Stadium, with kick-off set for 7 PM. There will be the annual Homecoming fireworks display set up at Windber Stadium which will cause a decrease in available parking at the Stadium. The lot is expected to fill up quicker and earlier than normal (6:00-6:30pm). Fans are encouraged to carpool and to park at the main parking lot of the Windber Area High School campus and utilize a free, WASD-sponsored, shuttle service to and from the game. The shuttle will begin at 6 PM and will run up until the time of the kickoff. Post-game, the last shuttle will depart the stadium 15 minutes after the game has ended. Fans can also park at the High School and walk the Rambler Road to Victory to and from the Stadium.
