Due to worsening inclement weather conditions, the Windber Area School District is now closed for the day today — Tuesday, December 2, 2025. After further review this morning, our bus company urged us to change our decision, as they were not confident they could safely transport students in the current and projected conditions.
This decision was made with one priority in mind: student and staff safety.
