The Windber Area School District invites families and community members from across the region to join us for a Community Pep Rally on Thursday, August 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Windber Stadium.
This free, family-friendly Safe Spaces event will help kick off the new school year, celebrate our students, and build excitement for the upcoming fall season. During the evening, Windber’s fall athletic teams and school programs will be introduced and recognized by the community.
The celebration will include:
- Free hamburgers and hot dogs
- Inflatables and games
- Face painting
- A community resource fair
- Activities for children and families
- Introductions of Windber’s fall teams and programs
- Free back-to-school products and supplies for families, while supplies last
The Community Pep Rally is being held as a Safe Spaces event, reinforcing our shared commitment to creating welcoming and supportive environments where young people and families can connect with their schools, local organizations, and community.
Whether you have a student participating in a fall activity or simply want to celebrate the beginning of another school year, we encourage you to join us. Wear your royal blue, bring the family, and help us fill Windber Stadium with Rambler pride!
