Our local veterans have sacrificed so much for our country and continue to make a positive impact right here in Windber through their service, leadership, and volunteerism. This fundraiser is our way of saying thank you while helping them continue their incredible work.
The donation will be presented to our local veterans during our Salute to Heroes Football Game on Friday, September 11, 2026, when the Windber Ramblers host Tussey Mountain. As part of this special evening, all veterans and first responders will also be treated to a complimentary cookout before the game as a small token of our appreciation for everything they do for our community.
