Windber Area School District is proud to announce that Windber Elementary School and Windber Middle School have earned recognition in the 2027 Best Elementary Schools and Best Middle Schools rankings, respectively, by U.S. News & World Report.
This achievement is a celebration of our students’ hard work, our educators’ dedication, and the support of our families and community. Across both schools, teachers and staff work each day to help students build strong academic foundations, grow in confidence, and prepare for the next stage of their education.
The recognition belongs to everyone who contributes to that work. Our students bring curiosity and determination to their classrooms. Our teachers, administrators, and support staff provide instruction, encouragement, and care. Our families reinforce learning at home and partner with our schools to help children succeed.
For Windber, this is both a moment to celebrate and an invitation to keep improving. We remain committed to meeting students’ needs, strengthening instruction, and creating opportunities for every child to thrive.
Congratulations to the students, staff, and families of Windber Elementary School and Windber Middle School. Thank you for making our schools places where children can learn, grow, and succeed.
Two schools. One proud community. Go Ramblers!
