Help with School Clothing and Work Attire Available to Eligible Families

Windber Area School District is sharing information about expanded Aetna Better Health® Kids benefits that can help eligible families prepare their children for school, activities, and future employment.

Effective October 1, 2026, the Go Get Active and Go Get Ready benefit provides eligible members with up to $100 each year for approved benefits and activities, including school clothing and uniforms.

Support for school and activities

For eligible members ages 5–18, the annual benefit can help cover approved school clothing, school uniforms, and gym uniforms at participating retailers. Examples listed by Aetna include Old Navy, Gap, Children’s Place, Lands’ End, and other participating clothing stores.

The benefit can also support approved activities, including sports and school recreation programs, dance, bowling, gym memberships, and museum, zoo, and aquarium visits.

Families should contact Aetna Member Services to confirm eligible purchases, participating retailers, and how to use their benefit.

Helping teens prepare for work

The Go Get Ready for Work benefit helps eligible members ages 14–18 obtain professional attire for job interviews, internships, or after-school employment.

Through Aetna’s partnership with The Wardrobe, teens can receive:

  • One appointment with a stylist, online or in person, to select clothing for interviews or work.

  • A customized clothing package delivered to their home.

  • Access to “Dressing with Confidence” workshops.

To schedule an appointment with The Wardrobe, call 215-568-6693, extension 10, email [email protected], or visit The Wardrobe’s client services page.
