She asked for new stuffed animals, dolls, games puzzles, coloring books.   The toys are being donated to Cuddles for Kids, a nonprofit charity that donates goods to less fortunate children around the world. The nonprofit was started back in 2006 by Conner Hagins. Since then it has donated more than $500,000 worth of goods to children's agencies. With the help of friends on Wednesday, Weaver stuffed a trailer full of toys.  The trailer was donated by Johnstown Paper Company.
Our community is very close-knit and when called upon to help out those in need, especially at Christmas time, you can always count on Windber to step up.  But Megan never expected such a huge response and over 900 toys were donated.
Cuddles for Kids collects all year long and Megan is hoping the community will continue to donate and that this toy drive will become a tradition at Windber.
