Superintendent of Schools

As I complete my second full year as Superintendent of Schools, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we've taken together and to share my continued commitment to the Windber Area School District.

It has been an incredible privilege to serve a community that my family and I deeply love and call home. My wife, a proud graduate of Windber Senior High School, and I are raising our four children here alongside nieces, nephews, and the children of family friends—all of whom attend Windber Area School District. Our personal investment in this school community is unwavering, and I am grateful each day for the opportunity to give back to the place that has given us so much.

Over the past two years, we have made great strides in strengthening Windber Pride by working collaboratively to set high expectations and build a culture of continuous improvement. While we celebrate the progress we've made, our work is far from over. We remain focused on aligning our vision to meet the evolving demands of the 21st century and beyond, ensuring that every child is prepared for success in a rapidly changing world.

My guiding principle remains the same: every child can and will attain the education and skills necessary to achieve their dreams. We are committed to creating a district where every student is loved, challenged, and prepared. That means providing meaningful learning opportunities in every classroom, every day—and doing so with passion, purpose, and high expectations.

We will continue to invest in our people, programs, and partnerships to ensure that each student has a pathway aligned with their goals and aspirations. At Windber, we are cultivating a growth mindset in our students and instilling the belief that passion and perseverance lead to achievement.

I would be remiss if I didn’t thank our incredible teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff. You are the heartbeat of our schools. Your dedication, care, and professionalism inspire me daily. You’ve helped create a culture where students come first and where learning is personal, purposeful, and powerful.
