Girls Soccer Wins District V Title

Congratulations to our Girls Varsity Soccer team on defeating Rockwood 3-0 and winning the District V 'A' Championship for the third year in a row and advancing to the state playoffs.

The Girls' will play on Tuesday November 6 vs. Shady Side Academy (7-3) @ Somerset. Kickoff is set for 8:00pm.

2018-19 College Board AP Fee Reduction Pilot

The College Board is offering the 2018 AP Fee Pilot as a meant to determine if costs associated with these exams play a factor in the participation in AP Exams of students not qualifying for a Standard AP Fee Reduction. Paint the Plow Contest - Voting is Open Now!

Windber High School Students in Mrs. Lishka's first period class participated in PennDOT's Paint the Plow contest. Students in surrounding schools also participated, for a total of 35 plows! These schools are in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties. Each plow will be judged and an overall winner in each county will be selected, as well as a fan favorite selected by YOU! Keep watch on the PennDOT Facebook page and "LIKE" our photo!! Our kids did an OUTSTANDING job and we could not be more "WINDBER PROUD!"

MS Writing Contest Winners

Twenty three middle school students participated in the first ever Windber Middle School Writing Contest last Friday. The essays were anonymously scored by a panel of 4 judges. The winners were as follows. 1st place: Cash Miller, 2nd place: Tie between Garrett Page and Logan Lamb, 3rd place: Cecilia Bean. Congratulations to all participants for a job well done!
