A Message from our Superintendent

I would like to thank our Students, Parents, Faculty, Support Staff, Administration, and Board of Education for another fantastic year! It takes the hard work and support of each and every one of you to make this District great! I am proud to call myself a Rambler and to be a part of the Windber Family.

Finally, I would like to offer my congratulations to the Class of 2019 and remind you that Windber will always be home. I hope that when you look back at your years at WASD that it brings you a smile and some very happy memories of your youth! No matter where life takes you, remember you will always be a Rambler at heart!

I hope everyone has a fun, safe and enjoyable summer! Always remember we are here if you need us!

CLASS OF 2019 & CLASS OF 2026 GRADUATION WALK

It has become a tradition for the graduating senior class and the graduating 5th grade class to walk the halls of Windber Elementary School for one final time. The other elementary students line the halls to wish them well and give them a grand send off. This processional reminds us all that time passes, students grow and eventually go out into the world. It also reminds our students that no matter where they go, no matter what they do, they will always and forever be a Rambler in their hearts! Best wishes to the Class of 2019 and Welcome to Windber Area Middle School to the Class of 2026! Rambler Pride!
