Student Risk Screening Scale (SRSS)

The Student Risk Screening Scale - Internalizing and Externalizing (SRSS-IE) is an evidence-based universal screening tool completed by teachers districtwide.  It is used to identify students exhibiting antisocial internal or external behavior patterns that may require intervention.  Data provided by the SRSS-IE provides the district with invaluable information, which can be used to better inform classroom instruction as well as identify students in need of targeted intervention and support.

At the district level, data provided by the SRSS-IE can be used to systematically assess how well our systems and practices are meeting the social emotional, and behavioral needs of our students. Student-level data will assist in the identification of students exhibiting internalized and/or internalized behaviors and thus allow for the most appropriate supports to be put in place, with parent permission.
