GJCTC Career Options
Students wishing to participate in extensive study of a technical area may pursue application to Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center. Students accepted into the program are transported by the district to the GJCTC for daily half-day p.m. sessions. Students are able to make application in the spring of their 9th grade year in preparation to attend during grades 10-12. At GJCTC, students develop technical skills to obtain and hold jobs in a variety of fields.

- Four (4) credits will be awarded for each year of completion of the Career/Technical program.
- .25 credits will be awarded for each element of the graduation project strand.
- To meet graduation requirements, students attending the Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center must complete all required classes each year, or make them up in an approved summer school program.
GJCTC applications may be submitted to Mrs. Birkhimer or Mrs. Ponczek in the high school counseling office.
