Job Shadowing

At Windber Area High School, students are encouraged to job shadow during their high school career.   The job shadowing experience provides students the opportunity to ask questions, network with professionals, gain hands on experience, and possibly link with scholarship opportunities.

The Importance of Job Shadowing

If your child wishes to job shadow during the school day,  a job shadowing form is required by the district.  Please be aware of the two part process on the job shadowing form.  

Part 1 - The bottom portion needs to be completed and turned into the main office at least a day prior to the job shadowing experience.  

Part 2 -  After the job shadowing experience , the professional will need to sign the top portion of the form.  Your child should turn the signed form into the office upon his/her return to school.
